Be Thankful.....

This is the week that we will be celebrating "Thanksgiving Day." That day is when you eat until your heart is content. Where you are served memories of your past on a plate. 

Thanksgiving is more than just eating your favorite foods and getting over stuff. It is the time for all of us to stop and think about the people and things we should be thankful for.  The things we have accomplished through the years, our treasures that we discovered on our adventure of life. The ups and downs, the laughter, the disappointments, the love and desires. Everything that effected your life in 2017.

We get so busy in life that we don't see the blessings that have come upon us at every point of our life. We are so busy that the pleasures that does come upon us get lost and the problems we incurred throughout the year hang heavy on our heart.

I spoke last time about fall being the time to look at all the accomplishments that you did throughout the year and to make changes in life for happier memories going forward. Well, Thanksgiving is part of the fall adjustment, the time when you stop and say thank you for everything that has happened good in your life, this year.

The more good memories that are made will help you to move forward through life's disappointments.

 Many of us get bogged down with the hurt and pain of life that we forget the happy part of life's adventures.  We need to stop and be grateful, thankful and happy for the good things and appreciate the highs in our life that occurs.

Being thankful once a year is not enough, being thankful throughout the year is something you should try to achieve  daily. Some of the things you should be thankful for are: waking up in the morning; thankful you have your health; thankful you are loved; thankful you even made it to "Thanksgiving Day."

STOP! see the blessings, say thank you everyday because there is no guarantee that another day will be coming your way. Open your heart to all the adventures and love that you can capture. Laugh a lot and cry as little as possible, but also be thankful for the tears. The tears are one way the universe helps wash away the pain, so you may enjoy the beauty and be thankful.
